Rourkela: Odisha models are gradually making a space for themselves in the fashion world. There have been many from the state who have made a mark on the runway in Miss and Mrs India in different categories.
To encourage new entrants in the fashion circuit and groom them well, a three-day workshop on modelling as a career was organised by Glam Shine Talent Management at Rourkela recently.
Aspiring models were educated on how they can make modelling their full-time career.

He says “I believe that we should educate people about modelling industry. We should clear the doubts on what exactly the field is? What the industry is expecting from the models? How they can kick-start their career into this?”
“This industry will grow rapidly in Odisha if such basics are cleared and will help in creating a platform for aspiring models and they can also earn through this profession,” said Prasant.
After his studies in Rourkela, Prasant started his career in modelling in 2012. He was also a guest faculty in National Institute Of Fashion Technology (NIFT). He was teaching fashion modeling subject there.
