Baripada: An eight-member team from Baridada police and forensic experts on Monday visited the office of Mayurbhanj MP and Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs and Jal Shakti Bishweswar Tudu, facing charges of assaulting two officials, in Odisha’s Baripada.
Tudu allegedly assaulted District Planning Board Deputy Director Ashwini Mallik and Assistant Director Debashis Mohapatra in his office after losing his temper.
Both officials sustained injuries with one of them fracturing his arm.
Tudu has denied the charges.
