Bhadrak: Vigilance sleuths on Tuesday conducted raids at the houses of Assistant Executive Engineer of Sanandi Canal Division in Bhadrak district on charges of amassing property disproportionate to his known sources of income.
Two teams of the anti-corruption wing led by Balasore Vigilance DSP Santosh Samantaray and Baripada Vigilance DSP Sanjay Dash carried out simultaneous raids at Behera’s residence located at Gaba Sahi, his ancestral house at Rahanj, office at Bhadrak and in-law’s house at Morada of Mayurbhanj district.
A car, two motorcycles, Rs 38, 100 in cash and 13 bank passbooks were seized by the vigilance team during the search operation.
