Mumbai: After announcing the exclusive partnership with Flipkart, Asus has unveiled the Zenfone Max Pro M1 on Monday. The phone has 6-inch 18:9 IPS LCD screen, dual rear cameras, 5000mAh battery, Snapdragon 636 chipset with 3GB, 4GB or 6GB of RAM options.
The camera is 13MP+5MP rear and 8MP front for the 3GB and 4GB RAM models. The 6GB RAM variant will have 16MP+5MP main camera and 16MP for selfies.
The phone has a starting price of Rs 10,999 for 3GB/ 32GB model. The 4GB/64GB model is priced at Rs 12,999 and the more premium 6GB model will be available for Rs 14,999.
This is the first Asus phone to run on pure Android instead of its Zen UI. It comes with Oreo 8.1 pre-installed. The big 5,000mAh battery supports quick charging. Other features include face-unlock and fingerprint sensor.
The Zenfone Max Pro M1 will compete with the Redmi Note 5 Pro and Asus claims that it will be 1.5 times faster than Xiaomi’s best seller.
This Flipkart-exclusive phone will be first available in a flash sale on May 3. It also comes with an introductory offer called Flipkart Complete Protection for Rs 49 and free data offer from Vodafone India. Flipkart also offers an additional Rs 1000 for exchanging any old phone, along with no cost EMI from Bajaj Finserv and credit cards.
