New Delhi: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will address the media at 4 pm on Wednesday.
She is expected to give details of the Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan package announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday to revive the economy amid the coronavirus crisis.
The economic relief package worth Rs 20 lakh crore combined with steps earlier taken by the Reserve Bank of India and government’s announcement of relief package of Rs 1.7 lakh crore, will focus on land, labour, liquidity and law and help small business, labourers and farmers, the PM Modi had said.
