Bhubaneswar: Three miscreants attacked and looted a woman and her employee on Kargill Road under Airfield police limits in the wee hours of Wednesday.
Police later admitted the two to the Capital Hospital. The condition of the woman is stated to be critical.
The incident took place while the woman, who is the owner of a mobile showroom, was on the way from Pokhariput to Master Canteen with one of her employees in a scooter to receive her husband from the railway station.
According to sources, three masked miscreants came on a motorcycle and kicked the scooter. As a result, the woman and her employee fell down. The miscreants later snatched the cash bag and ornaments from the employee at bhujali-point.
The incident took place barely 100 metres from the Naveen Niwas.
On being informed, police rushed to the spot and admitted the unconscious woman and the employee to the Capital Hospital.
The Airfield police have begun a probe into the incident.
