Bhubaneswar: The audio and first look of poster of Odia film ‘BISHWASS – The Light over Darkness’ were released in the city on Friday.
The film, produced under the banner of Sudhanya Creatives, Bhubaneswar, is directed by Chinmay Das Pattanayak. The foot-tapping numbers of the film have been shot in different locations of Mayurbhanj, Puri, and Bhubaneswar.
Chinmay has also composed the story board, screenplay, dialogue and lyrics of the movie. The film is based on the supernatural elements of belief and make belief. It blends the spell binding facets of religion, traditions, cultures and societies.
The potential voices of Pandit Shiba Prasad Ratha, Ira Mohanty and Bishnu Mohan Kabi and contribution of music director Santanu Satpathy have made the audio packaging an attractive one.
Dr Bibekananda Panigrahi, a film lover himself who believes in the philosophy of music and the emotive key for social change by influencing the psyche, is the producer.
Interestingly, all the artists and casts, male and female actors have made their debut in the film.
Creative head Bibhudutta Panigrahi, chief assistant Sudharanjan Mallick and Aasish Behera have contributed to the the songs and audio. The film is set to be released in mid-November.
Among others, Jyoti Prakash Panigrahi, Minister, Tourism, Odia Language, Literature & Culture; Susanta Kumar Rout, MLA, Bhubaneswar (North); Umakanta Samantray, MLA, Satyabadi and Nishikanta Mishra, CMD, TEAM Admark were present at the event.
