Dhenkanal: The COVID-19 tally in Dhenkanal district rose to 450 on Thursday with an overnight addition of 27 fresh cases.
The new cases included 17 from Kankadahad block, 8 from Parjang block and one each from Gondia block and Kamakhyanagar NAC.
Alarmingly, out of the district’s total tally of 450 positive cases so far, 156 have been reported in the last six days since August 1.
With 195 recoveries, Dhenkanal district has 255 active cases at present.
