New Delhi: Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust President Nritya Gopal Das on Friday sent an invitation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the ‘Bhumi Pujan’ or foundation laying ceremony of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
The construction of the temple is likely to begin next month. A tentative timeline will be decided in a meeting to be held on Saturday in Ayodhya.
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat is expected to attend the ceremony.
The PM’s former principal secretary, Nripendra Mishra, who is now the chairman of the construction committee of the Trust, visited Ayodhya on Thursday and met various members of the Trust along with BSF’s former director general K K Sharma, the security adviser of the Trust.
Ayodhya BJP MLA Ved Prakash Gupta said if PM Modi comes to Ayodhya during the ceremony, then their dream of making Ayodhya like the Vatican City will come true.
