Rayagada: In a proud moment for Odisha’s Rayagada, a student from Kendriya Vidyalaya in the district has been selected as part of 25 students from the state to participate in Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations in Mumbai.
Anshuman Rath, a Class 9 student of Kendriya Vidyalaya in Rayagada, is the only student to be selected from the district.
In all, 25 students have been selected from Odisha: 11 girls and 14 boys. Ten students are from Cuttack district, 12 students from Khurda district and one each from Rayagada, Balangir and Balesore districts.
They will leave for Mumbai on June 28 and return on July 4.
