Florida: The US Central Command (CENTCOM) reported that a US Air Force B-52 Stratofortress took off on a night mission as part of Operation Epic Fury. The operation seeks to eliminate threats from the Iranian regime and prevent it from rebuilding capabilities in the Persian Gulf region.

CENTCOM emphasized that US strikes remain “unpredictable, dynamic, and decisive.” The conflict in West Asia has expanded, with the US, Israel, and Iran conducting strikes against each other.

Meanwhile, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is considering sending thousands of interceptor drones to the Middle East, according to a report by The Telegraph published on Saturday. UK defense officials are assessing whether to redirect advanced gear originally meant for Eastern Eu

rope to counter new threats there.

Experts are reviewing the UK’s “Octopus” anti-drone system—built to help Ukraine fend off Russian attacks—for use against Iran’s Shahed drones, aiming to enhance British protection.

This evaluation follows US President Donald Trump’s appeal to the UK and allies to deploy naval forces and secure shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.

On the Iranian side, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched the 51st wave of Operation True Promise 4, firing missiles at US military sites in reprisal for US-Israeli actions, according to state broadcaster Press TV. The IRGC used a mix of liquid-fuel and solid-fuel missiles targeting US personnel at Al Kharj Air Base in Saudi Arabia.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian called for US forces to leave West Asia to restore security. In a post on X, he wrote, “In short: For the region to be secure, the United States should not be there.”

Tensions ignited on February 28, when US-Israeli airstrikes killed top Iranian officials and commanders. Since then, Iranian forces have fired near-daily missile and drone salvos at Israeli territories and US bases across the region.
