New Delhi: Banking on demand for e-commerce under the impact of lockdown and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s atmanirbharta campaign, Patanjali is readying to launch its e-commerce platform ‘OrderMe’ to sell only Swadeshi products.
Yoga guru Baba Ramdev-led group will be launching the platform in next 15 days. Besides having more than 800 Patanjali products on its shelf, the site will offer service to the consumers to get connected to neighborhood stores selling Indian goods.
There will be no shipping charges for consumers, and the products will be delivered within a few hours. Users can also receive free 24X7 medical advice from around 1,500 doctors of Patanjali and yoga tutorials.
The app developed at Patanjali’s IT company Bharuwa Solutions in New Delhi will be available in both Android and iOS platforms.
Patanjali sells its apparel products on several e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm, 1mg, etc. It currently manufactures more than 2,500 products that include 45 varieties of cosmetic products and 30 types of food products.
