Bhubaneswar: After the success of ‘Sundargarh Ra Salman Khan’, Ollywood actor Babushan will be next seen in ‘Local Toka Love Chokha’ opposite Sunmeera.

Produced under the banner of Om Sai Production, the film will hit theatres across Odisha on August 10.

“Initially, we came up with 10 titles for the film. We sought suggestions from youngsters, who picked four among them. We settled for the one which won most votes,” said director Sudhanshu Mohan Sahoo.

The film also stars Mihir Das, Pradyumna Lenka, Puspa Panda and Aparajita Mohanty.

“It is a wholesome entertainer with right mix of drama, emotions and comedy. As the title of the film suggests, it is the story of a local boy who falls in love with a girl and the challenges that follow,” said Sahoo.

Sunmeera is happy to have been cast opposite Babushan in her second movie.

“They look great together. I am sure the audience would love this on-screen pairing,” said Sahoo.

Of the five songs scored by Baidyanath Das, Babushan has rendered voice for one, he added.
