Cuttack: The entire Badamba town was declared containment zone on Sunday for three days after two persons from the town tested positive for coronavirus in the last two days.
An order issued by Athagarh Sub-Collector Ajambar Mohanty said Badamba town has been declared as containment zone from 10 am on June 29 to 10 am on July 2 for comprehensive contact tracing and in larger public interest.
The vehicles and people are prohibited from entering and leaving the containment zone. The local residents have been asked to remain at home.
All shops and business establishments, and government and private institutions will remain closed during in the containment zone during the period.
The supply of medicines and essential goods will be ensured by the block administration, the order stated.
