Badminton Ace PV Sindhu Gets Engaged To Venkata Datta Sai; Wedding On Dec 22

Hyderabad: Two-time Olympic medallist PV Sindhu got engaged to Hyderabad-based executive Venkata Datta Sai.

The badminton star on Saturday shared a dreamy picture from the engagement ceremony on Instagram, that soon went viral on social media.

The photo, taken in a beautiful backdrop, shows Sindhu and Venkata holding rings in their hands and sharing a laugh.

A board announced ‘Miss to Mrs’ in the heartwarming photo which Sindhu shared along with the words, “When love beckons to you, follow him, for love gives naught but itself,” a – Kahlil Gibran quote.

Sindhu, a silver-medallist in the 2016 Rio Olympics and bronze winner in the Tokyo Olympics, is the first and only Indian to win gold medal at the BWF World Championships (2019).

Her fiancé Datta Sai is an Executive Director at Posidex Technologies.

Wedding festivities will start on December 20, and the couple will tie the knot on December 22 in Udaipur. A grand reception will be held in Hyderabad later.
