Kendrapara: Bahuda Yatra of Lord Jagannath at Pokhariapada village of Odisha’s Kendrapara district saw some heart-wrenching moments after devotee was crushed under the wheels of the chariot.
The deceased was identified as 60-year-old Nirakar Jena. He slipped and fell under the wheels of the chariot while pulling the rope during the return journey of the Lords in the village under Pattamundai police limits.
A case of unnatural death has been registered in this connection, a police officer said.
