Baijayant Panda Gets Key Role As BJP Rejigs Organisational Heads Ahead Of 2024 Polls

New Delhi: With an eye on the Lok Sabha election scheduled this year, the BJP has announced major appointments and responsibilities across the party wings.

The party released the list of all the new organisational appointments, including in-charge of the ruling party’s youth wing, farmers’ unions coalition, women’s wing, etc, late on Wednesday evening. Four-time MP from Odisha Baijayant Panda and party’s Odisha in-charge Sunil Bansal are among the new appointees.

Here’s a list of appointments approved by BJP national president J P Nadda:

Sunil Bansal is in-charge of Yuva Morcha
Baijayant Jay Panda is in-charge of Mahila Morcha
Bandi Sanjay Kumar is in-charge of Kisan Morcha
Tarun Chugh is in-charge of SC Morcha
Radha Mohan Das Agarwal is in-charge of ST Morcha
Vinod Tawde is in-charge of OBC Morcha
Dushyant Kumar Gautam is in-charge of Minority Morcha

Before rolling out the key responsibilities, Nadda had convened a two-day meeting of BJP’s national office-bearers during the last week of December 2023 to figure out the party’s agenda and upcoming programmes.
