Bajaj on Thursday launched an updated version of its popular tourer Dominar 400. The new motorcycle gets a ₹11,000 hike over the old one and is priced at ₹173,870 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The same 373.2cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor produces 5PS more power than the earlier model due to a DOHC setup instead of SOHC. The engine now makes 40PS power. It is mated to a six speed gearbox aided with a slipper clutch.
The performance has hence improved in the 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 and it can do 0 to 100 kmph in 7.1 seconds.
The 320mm front and 230mm rear discs get dual channel ABS as standard because of the new norms.
The motorcycle gets an all-new full LED headlamp. It comes in Aurora Green and Vine Black colour options.
It has multi step mono shock with nitrox at the rear and 43mm USD forks at the front.
Being a sports tourer, it gets bungee straps tucked under the seat to tie gear and belongings.
There are two displays. The redesigned secondary display shows time, gear position and trip information.
