Tokyo: Wrestler Bajrang Punia became the sixth athlete to clinch a medal for India at the Tokyo Olympics on Saturday by winning his bronze medal bout.
He won the men’s 65kg match against Daulet Niyazbekov of Kazakhstan in the repechage round with a score of 8-0.
With this, he also avenged his defeat in the 2019 World Wrestling Championships.
This is the fourth bronze for the nation at the Games this year.
