Balasore: Balasore Sadar block chairman Narayan Pradhan rejoined BJD within 48 hours of switching allegiance to BJP on October 7.
This assembly constituency will go to bypoll on November 3.
The three major political parties, however, are yet to announce names of the candidates for this seat.
Pradhan rejoined BJDin presence of senior BJD MLAs Pratap Deb and Pranab Prakash Das. “The decision to resign from BJD was a mistake. I don’t want my party to be on the back-foot during the by-elections,” he said.
