Puri: The Jagannath Temple in Puri will remain closed for four hours on Wednesday for ‘Banakalagi’ rituals of the Lords.
According to sources, the temple will remain closed from 4.30 pm to 8.30 pm. During this period, the sacred ritual of ‘Banakalagi’ will be performed by the temple servitors. After the Dwitiya Bhogamandapa, the Banaklagi ritual will be held. No devotees will be allowed inside the temple, informed the temple administration.
