Berhampur: The transaction duration at banks in Ganjam district has been increased by an hour and these will remain open from 7 am to 2 pm from Tuesday.
“The decision was taken to control crowds, ensure social distancing and avoid sunstroke,” Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange informed.
Earlier, the banking hours were from 10 am to 4 pm.
