Bhubaneswar: The Reserve Bank of India has directed banks in Fani-hit districts of Odisha to extend functional hours from 4 pm to 6 pm on working days.
In an attempt to help cyclone victims access banking services, mobile ATMs and additional POS machines will also be made available in rural areas.
“Though only 50% ATMs are currently operational, they have been stocked with adequate cash,” informed RBI Regional Director Mahesh Mall.
