Berhampur: The banks in Ganjam district will operate from 8 am to 1 pm during the lockdown period till June 30.
In an official letter to the Lead Bank District Manager, Andhra Bank, Berhampur, Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange said certain public services including banking activities are permitted during the lockdown period.
The banks are allowed to remain open from 8 am to 1 pm and extend customer service from 8 am to 12 noon on all working days by adhering to social distancing and other norms of COVID-19.
Following the steady rise in the number of COVID patients, the Ganjam district administration last Sunday declared a lockdown in the district till June 30.
