Balangir: Panic gripped Kantabanji in Odisha’s Balangir after a banner, threatening to kill local Congress MLA Santosh Singh Saluja within 15 days, surfaced on Monday.
According to sources, the white banner with threat message written with red ink in Odia along with a picture of an unidentified youth was found outside a shop near Kantabanji Girls High School.
Locals have termed it as distasteful and unacceptable.
Meanwhile, police have seized the banner and started investigation into the incident.
