Barabati ODI: Online Tickets Sold Out In One Hour!

Cuttack: Cricket lovers of Odisha were disappointed after all the online tickets for the one-day international match between India and West Indies were sold out within an hour on Thursday. The day and night one-day match is scheduled on December 22.

According to reports, the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) had announced that online sale of tickets for the one-day international match will begin at 11 am on Thursday but due to a server error, the tickets could not be sold till 5 pm.

However, as soon as the error was rectified, all the tickets were sold within an hour. OCA had announced the sale of 8150 tickets online.

“As told by the OCA earlier that the online sale of tickets will be available through www.paytm.com or www.insider.in I had opened the two portals at 11 am. But as the server was down, I was waiting for the purchase of tickets. As I finally logged in the two portals at 6 pm, I saw the message that the tickets are not available,” said an irate youth.

Asked about the matter, OCA Secretary Sanjay Behera said that those who have failed to purchase an online ticket can get it offline from the Barabati Stadium counter on December 19 and 20.
