New Delhi: Ariz Khan, who was found guilty of killing inspector Mohan Chand Sharma in 2008, was on Monday sentenced to death.
The Indian Mujahideen (IM) terrorist and his accomplices gunned down the Delhi Police special cell cop, who led an operation on Batla House — where Ariz and others were hiding — on September 19, 2008.
Apart from death penalty, the Delhi court also imposed a fine of Rs 11 lakh on Ariz, of which Rs 10 lakh has to be immediately given to Sharma’s family.
