Making the most of the red-orange-green COVID-19 zone colours, Amaron took a jibe at rival Exide in an advertisement campaign.

Tirupati-based Amara Raja Group’s Amaron wrote “If it’s red, it’s not safe”, referring to red colour synonymous with Exide’s branding.

Amaron also wrote #StayGreenStaySafe, using their brand colour green to the situation’s advantage, and posted a few other messages using the same pun.

Exide is the biggest battery manufacturer in India. Amara Raja comes close second.
