Bhubaneswar: The Odisha cabinet will meet on Thursday morning to discuss various issues pertaining to the coronavirus pandemic.
Official sources said a meeting of the cabinet, headed by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, has been convened at 10.45 am to discuss the ongoing COVID-19 and related situation in the state.
The cabinet has not met since the corona virus hit the eastern state in mid-March, when the government confirmed the first positive case.
“A few key decisions might be taken at the cabinet meeting,” a source said.
Sources said certain decisions in the wake of Wednesday’s central government’s Group of Ministers meeting might be taken.
Till now, 42 corona cases, including one death, have been officially confirmed.
