Mumbai: Popular Bigg Boss 13 contestant Shehnaaz Gill’s father Santokh Singh has been booked for allegedly raping a woman at gunpoint.

Though the incident took place on May 14, the victim filed a complaint with the Punjab Police on May 19.

According to reports, the victim had gone to Singh’s house to meet her boyfriend Lucky who stays there on the day. When she came out of the house following a tiff with her boyfriend, Singh took advantage of the situation and raped her at gun point.

According to the complainant, Singh even tried to kill her after committing the rape.

But, Shehnaaz’s brother Shahbaz rubbished the allegations and said someone was trying to tarnish the image of his father.

He admitted that a case had been registered against his father with the police but the allegations were completely false. The woman in question is trying to defame his father, he added.

“We are disturbed at the moment but we know that nothing will happen to my father as we have proof that she is lying. The place where the incident took place, according to her, is under CCTV surveillance and we have the recording of it,” he said
