Bhubaneswar: Madhusmita Behera was on Monday named captain of the Odisha women’s cricket team which will take part in the BCCI Senior Women’s T20 Trophy tournament to be held at Trivandrum from April 18 to May 4.
Odisha women have been placed in Elite Group B along with Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Tripura, Jharkhand and Tamil Nadu.
The Odisha contingent will travel to Trivandrum on April 15 and practise for two days before opening their campaign against Chhattisgarh on April 18.
