Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday reviewed the progress of Mo Sarkar initiative and advised the officials to be more proactive in delivering services to the people.
Relentless and effective service to the people of Odisha should be the objective of a good government, said the Chief Minister and not just understanding that they are satisfied.
The Mo Sarkar programme, which has been going on for last two years, has brought transformation at the administrative level and generated trust, confidence among common people, said Naveen.
As many as 222 services of 28 departments have been included in Mo Sarkar. “Mo Sarkar has been able to bring about professionalism among government servants. The government officials are acting more responsibly towards the public and empathetic,” Naveen added.
Chief Secretary Suresh Mohapatra, DGP Abhay, Development Commissioner PK Jenna and Additional Chief Administrative Secretary, Principal Secretaries and Administrative Secretaries of various departments were present.
