Cuttack: In midst of the lockdown to check the spread of COVID-19, the state transport authority (STA) has come up with a novel idea to keep people engaged as well as informed.
The STA on Saturday announced a daily quiz on road safety till the lockdown is lifted. The quiz will be conducted online and every day five winners will get Rs 1,000 and a certificate.
It recommended to people to brush up on motor vehicle rules and road safety norms before participating in the quiz.
The STA site http://www.odisharoadsafety.org/ will also have mock tests for learners’ license.
The online quiz will have 20 questions, which will be refreshed every day at midnight. Five winners will be declared at 6 pm on the subsequent day.
Participants will get brownie points for liking STA’s social media pages.
