Cuttack: With the number of COVID-19 cases rising sharply, all beds in four hospitals of the city have been filled up.
Sources said all beds in the COVID hospital in SCB Medical College and Hospital (53), Srusti COVID Hospital (50), Ashwini COVID Hospital (50) and Sadguru COVID Hospital (30) have been filled up.
To accommodate more patients, the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) is going to operationalise one more COVID hospital on Monday and another two in two days.
Notably, the COVID caseload in the Millennium City has gone up to 1928 in the last 23 days since April 1 with the highest 246 cases reported on April 22.
