Bhubaneswar: The central enforcement squad of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation on Monday raided several places in their zone and imposed fines on shops for violating COVID-19 guidelines.
The team closed a beer parlour at Indradhanu market in IRC area of the city for COVID protocol violation. A fine of Rs 1,000 was also imposed.
The team also raided the hostel of private tutorial, Vinayaka Classes, where the students were still staying and leading a routine life. It may be mentioned here that the government had asked all educational institutes to close their hostels and conduct offline classes.
The team also visited Priyadarshini market in CRP Square and imposed a fine of Rs 2,000 on a shopkeeper for COVID norms violation.
