Berhampur: The vigilance officers of Odisha raided multiple locations of the state in connection with the allegation against Anganwadi worker, Namita Dalai for possessing assets disproportionate to her known income sources.
Namita works at Ward No 9 of the Berhampur Municipal Corporation.
Raids were conducted at Namita’s residential property at Laxmi Nrusingha Nagar, 1st lane, Berhampur, by the sleuths of the anti-corruption agency. Another house in the same lane, the house at Ganesh Nagar, 4th lane in Berhampur, two Bhubaneswar apartments, and her relative’s house at Dalia Street in Berhampur based on the search warrant issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Berhampur.
The raids were underway when report last came in. The calculation of the total valuation of her property is yet to be completed.
