New Delhi: You get to hear bizarre stories from time to time, some of the acts undertaken to prove a point and others to grab attention.
This crazy incident perhaps belongs to the first category.
A Belgian man faked his own death, ostensibly to teach his family a lesson.
David Baerten, known on TikTok as Ragnar le Fou, David felt that he was being “underappreciated” by his own relatives and wanted to teach them a lesson about staying in touch with each other, the Independent reported.
So what did he do?
The 45-year-old David arrived at his own funeral in a helicopter!
A video showed the helicopter landing in a field. As David stepped out, his relatives surrounded him and hugged him.
It was well planned by David, with a film crew recording the entire scene.
According to a report in The Times (UK), David was helped by his daughters to pull off the mega prank.
The girls distributed mourning messages too all those who had arrived to attend the funeral, near Leige.
“Rest in peace, Daddy. I will never stop thinking about you. Why is life so unfair? Why you? You were going to be a grandfather, and you still had your whole life,” the message read.
