Below 300 New COVID Cases In Bhubaneswar For Second Day Straight

Bhubaneswar: The capital city reported less than 300 cases for the second consecutive day on Monday with 246 new cases. The city has reported 287 positive cases the previous day.

Of the new cases, 35 were from quarantine and 211 were local contacts, tweeted Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation.

The highest of 16 cases were from Khandagiri followed by 14 from Nayapalli, 13 from Baramunda, 11 from Chandrasekharpur and 10 each from Badagada and Niladri Vihar.

As many as 551 patients recovered during this period. With this, the city has now 1544 active cases.

The total caseload of the city reached to 86,935. A total of 84,963 persons have recovered, so far. The city death toll rose to 407.
