Balasore: Police here on Friday arrested a person for allegedly smuggling brown sugar worth Rs 3 lakh by stuffing it inside the mouth of a fish, to West Bengal.
The accused has been identified as Sheikh Munna, a resident of Dantan village in Medinipur district of West Bengal.
Munna was nabbed near Laxmannath Toll Plaza under Jaleswar police limits following a raid by a police team lead by Jaleswar SDPO Ankita Kumbhar and seized three packets of the contraband item stashed in a fish t.
