Balasore: West Bengal Finance Minister Chandrima Bhattacharya’s husband, Samir Bose, and three others were injured after the SUV in which they were traveling met with an accident on NH-16 in Odisha’s Balasore.
According to sources, Bose and others were proceeding to Odisha capital for a dog show when the vehicle rammed into a concrete structure as the driver lost control over the wheel near Alipur under Soro police limits.
The other injured people were identified as S Raman, S Chatterjee, and Shyamal Bose.
On being informed, the Highway Patrolling Team reached the site and rushed all four injured individuals to the Community Health Centre (CHC) nearby. S Chatterjee and Shyamal Bose were later shifted to a hospital in Bhubaneswar as their health condition worsened.
