Bengaluru Police Raid Duplicate Mosquito Repellent Production Unit In Odisha’s Paradip

Paradip: Bengaluru Police on Saturday raided a duplicate mosquito repellent stick manufacturing unit in Tarinigada of Paradip under Jagatsinghpur police limits and arrested one person.

The arrested person has been identified as Rabindra Nayak.

According to police, Rabindra and his son Bikash were running the mosquito repellent manufacturing unit by using logo and packets of Karnataka-based company. They also engaged in production of substandard materials, said police.

On learning about the fraud, the company filed a case at a police station in Bengaluru, who contact the local police. They conducted a raid in Tarinigada with the help of Paradip police and took the accused into custody. However, Bikash managed to escape.

Raw materials, tools and machinery used in producing the fake product were also seized from the spot by police.
