Berhampur: The office of Berhampur Municipal Corporation (BeMC) was closed for 14 days after some staffers tested positive for COVID-19.
As informed by the BeMC commissioner Chakravarti Singh Rathore, all staffers engaged in COVID duty have been directed to remain in home quarantine for 14 days due to the detection of positive cases among the staffers.
However, the staffers working under the National Urban Health Mission (NUHM), Health section, management information system (MIS) section and Accounts section will attend office. Those working in the office of the Municipal Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner have also been asked to attend office.
Rathore further said that any person having urgent work at BeMC can call 0680-2250290.
