Berhampur: Local MLA Bikram Panda once again came to the help of a helpless person in the city on Sunday.
While the BJD leader was on his way, he saw an old woman lying on the road side of Gajapati Nagar Main Road. She was alone, helpless and weak.
Bikram stopped his vehicle and went to the old lady. He asked her identity and problems. After she told her problems, Bikram asked one of his associates to arrange an auto-rickshaw to drop her at her native place Kukudakhandi, about 10 km from here.
The legislator’s gesture has been appreciated by the people in the area.
