Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) leader and Berhampur MP Chandra Sekhar Sahu has been admitted to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar after complained of certain health complications.
As per information, several BJD leaders, including V K Pandian, visited the hospital and inquired about the health condition of Sahu.
Pandian was accompanied by Rajya Sabha members Manas Ranjan Mangaraj and Sasmit Patra.
Stating that Sahu’s health condition is stable now, Sasmit Patra said certain medical examinations have been completed. According to the doctors he is under observation and medication, he said.
According to hospital sources, Sahu is likely to be discharged within a day or two.
Sahu was appointed as Chairman of the 38-member manifesto committee of the BJD by the party’s president Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday.
