Berhampur: A day ahead of ‘Sunabesha’ of Lord Jagannath and His siblings in Puri on July 2, miniature sculpture expert Satya Maharana of Berhampur has carved three small deities of a height of 3 mm, 2 mm and 3 mm studded with ‘chumki’.
The three idols can be kept on the nail of a thumb. Earlier, 36-year-old Maharana has set 25 international and national records for creating smallest artifacts.
It may be noted that during ‘Sunabesha’, Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra are attired with ornaments of gold and precious stones.
