Bhadrak CDMO arrested for accepting Rs 8000 bribe

Bhadrak: Vigilance sleuths arrested Bhadrak Chief District Medical Officer (CDMO) Gitanjali Patnaik on Saturday for allegedly accepting Rs 8,000 bribe.

Patnaik was caught red-handed while accepting the money from Medical Security Supervisor Rasmiranjan Das to pass a bill.
In another incident, the anti-corruption officials conducted simultaneous raids on the residence and office of Paruabhadi’s Large Area Multi-Purpose Cooperative Societies (LAMPS) loan manager Ujwal Singh on charges of amassing properties disproportionate to his known sources of income.
