Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 cases in Bhadrak, the second corona hotspot in Odisha, has gone up to eight. Bhubaneswar, however, continues to lead the affected tally with 46 confirmed cases so far.
Five fresh cases were reported in Balasore on Sunday. While three of them are from Basudevpur block, two are from Bhandaripokhrai block.
“Since one among the latest COVID-19 patient has no recent travel history to any other country or outside the state, the affected areas have been declared as containment zones to check the spread of the infection,” Collector Gyana Das informed on Monday.
However, the Odisha government is yet to release the travel history of these patients.
