New Delhi: Banking services at public sector banks are likely to be affected on Wednesday due to the Bharat Bandh called by 10 central trade unions.
Banking services like deposit and withdrawal, cheque clearing and instrument issuance are expected to be impacted as various bank employee unions due to the strike have expressed their willingness to participate in the strike.
However, services at private sector banks are unlikely to be impacted. ATMs are also expected to function normally.
Sources said most of the banks have already informed stock exchanges about the bandh strike and its likely impact on banking services.
