Bhubaneswar: All government offices in Odisha will remain closed on Tuesday in view of the Bharat Bandh call given by farmer organisations against the new agriculture reform bill by the Centre.
A notification by the I&PR Department stated that as the public transport in Odisha is yet to be resumed in a full-fledged manner due to the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic, the bandh will further aggravate dependence on public transport. As there will be a rush of \government employees to avail the passenger transport, there is a possibility of further contamination of the disease. Keeping this in view, all government offices will remain closed.
However, the emergency public services will continue during the bandh, the notification added.
