Bhubaneswar: Schools in 15 districts of Odisha remained closed on Wednesday in view of the Bharat Bandh call given by the Central trade unions.
Official sources said that the collectors of Kandhamal, Ganjam, Dhenkanal, Khurda, Bhadrak, Gajapati, Jagatsinghpur, Rayagada, Jharsuguda, Nayagarh, Boudh, Jajpur, Malkangiri, Kendrapara and Kalahandi districts had ordered the closure of all schools for the safety of the students.
The remaining districts saw a poor turnout of the students in schools as vehicular traffic came to a grinding halt.
